IHOP’s new product launch
We landed on a marketing goldmine when we discovered that IHOP’s latest menu innovation shared initials with the hot technology of the moment - New French Toast. IHOP being a legacy, family brand not typically with being on the forefront of culture, our goal was to use this finding and create a launch moment with un-ignorable content in the category. So we teased an “NFT” launch from IHOP on social which ultimately lead to the launch of French Toast. The effort generated social buzz, even with a few consumers speculating and guessing the new item. The campaign included traditional broadcast, digital, paid social, OOH, etc. of the full menu launch.
